FFC Training - Food Safety Quality Standards 7th Feb 18

A One Day Course

Food Safety - Quality Standards ” Food Standards Law Enforcement”

BRIGG, North Lincolnshire

Thursday 7th February 2018

This one day course has been arranged by Food and Farming Compliance Ltd. in conjunction with North Lincolnshire Council to provide an insight to the enforcement of Food Quality Standards Legislation.

The course provides an overview of the work of a food standards enforcement officer.

This course is targeted at officers who are required to enforce the requirement of the Food Safety Act in relation to Food Quality Standards. It will provide for discussion and debate on how to enforce food standards requirements. It will be invaluable for Environmental Health and Trading Standards Practitioners involved in the inspection of FBO’s in relation to food standards and investigation of possible offences under the Food Safety Act and the Regulations made thereunder.

This course is suitable for any authorised person who is responsible for administering and enforcing the provisions of Food Safety Legislation. It is designed for the less experienced officers and those entering the professions as training and guidance and also those returning to food enforcement.

In addition the course would also be of benefit to the more experienced officer as a refresher. It is also suitable for those officers normally involved with food hygiene enforcement who want more information about current standards enforcement priorities.
