Leigh Grant is a sales and marketing expert with food industry experience from both a retail and foodservice perspective, combined with a uniquely in depth knowledge of assurance schemes.
This has been forged by working for over twenty years in blue chip food businesses in the frozen food, grocery and dairy sectors, spanning roles in sales, distribution and marketing - followed by eleven years as chief executive of the RSPCA’s farm assurance scheme, Freedom Food.
Leigh achieved UK Government recognition for Freedom Food as a higher level scheme, achieving unprecedented growth in membership and market share, whilst developing new income streams that enabled the scheme to grow on a self funding basis.
Recognised as an expert speaker in the EU Leigh is a first class communicator with the ability to think and act pragmatically, developing simple and practical solutions to the most complex of issues, at all levels across the supply chain.
His aim is to assist businesses to develop cost effective, commercially viable Corporate Social Responsibility strategies, that add tangible value to a business. His approach is based on a simple principle – CSR strategies must be commercially sustainable to be relevant.
